Coaching
Do you ever feel proud of certain aspects of your life but simultaneously feel grief or regret for past decisions as you move into different life stages or advance in your career?
Maybe you feel like the old skills, tools and habits you used in the past to get healthy, recover from a hard season or get through a difficult relationship don't work anymore.
Maybe you feel lost like I did, not ready to say you're in Midlife, but unsure what to call this strange season of life you find yourself in.
Maybe you just want a roadmap for being healthier emotionally and physically in the second half of life. You want your relationships to be stronger, your marriage to be more vibrant, your life to have more adventure, but you worry you might have missed your opportunity.
Loving yourself, your relationships, your work and your life doesn't have to be a daydream. This is what coaching is for.
So let's get started.
Grab a spot on my calendar below for a free Coaching Session.
During your free consultation, we will work together for up to 60 minutes. We will focus our conversation on an area of your life that could benefit most from wholeness, whether it's your mental or physical well-being, your relationships, career, or other areas of your life.
Show up ready to reflect, gain meaning and identify clear action steps you can take. We may decide to work together for additional coaching sessions or we may not, but either way, this hour is yours.
Coaching FAQs

Simply put, where are you feeling out of control in your mind and body and life, and you want to feel Whole and In Control instead?
Maybe it's in your relationships, your career, your lifestyle and health.
With support from a partner or a good friend, you can make a lot of progress. But if you want to go to the next level of health, integration and wholeness, getting a coach can make a huge difference. Having someone to encourage you, invest in you and hold you accountable to the best version of you will be energizing, grounding and life-giving in a way you didn't even know you were missing.

Working with me in a coaching relationship is an ongoing conversation for the duration of our time together.
You can even try out coaching first. The coaching relationship is a two-way street, and we both need to agree we will enjoy working together. Our first consultation is free, and we'll dive right in to where you want to move toward wholeness in your life. You can expect that during this session, you'll begin to shift some key perspectives and patterns in your life and create change for you right from the start.
If we decide we want to work together further, we can decide to create a relationship for 3-6 months.
Coaching sessions are your time so we are focused on your goals, but we create these together. We can work on any area of wholeness you want to see improve in your life. Many people want to focus on their mental and physical health and lifestyle, the quality of their relationships, navigating a career change or a transition in their life stage, especially starting a new relationship, having children or graduating children in the world (AKA "empty nest").
The goal will be to help you process and navigate through these challenges to create integration and wholeness and increasingly, you'll feel a growing sense of confidence and contentment as you make meaning of confusing or difficult challenges and changes in your life.
We will meet every other week, virtually or in person, and then talk by email, text or phone in between sessions so you can share your progress and breakthroughs.
Wholeness coaching is customized for you, but a typical pattern is meeting every other week for 3 months or 6 months.
Coaching packages are an intentional investment in yourself, and when you make that choice, you benefit in every area of your life. Coaching sessions can be purchased individually, but to reward your investment in yourself, purchasing a package is a greater value financially, and has a greater reward.

Another important question. I get this a lot, especially since I provide both services. While there are some similarities between coaching and psychotherapy, they are very different activities and it is important to understand the differences between them.
Both coaching and psychotherapy utilize knowledge of human behavior, motivation and behavioral change, and interactive counseling techniques. The major differences are in the goals, focus, and level of professional responsibility.
The primary goals of psychotherapy are identification, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders. The goals of psychotherapy include alleviating symptoms, understanding the underlying dynamics which create symptoms, changing behaviors that do not serve the client which are the result of these disorders, and developing new strategies for successfully coping with the psychological challenges which we all face. Due to the importance of confidentiality and privacy related to medical diagnoses, the dynamic between therapist and client is more structured to protect information and the client relationship.
The focus of coaching is more collaborative with the coach assisting the client to create and implement strategies to reach client-identified goals in their personal, relational or career life. Coaching addresses specific personal projects, life balance, job performance and satisfaction, or general conditions in the client’s life, business, or profession. While confidentiality is maintained in a coaching relationship, the relationship is designed to be more of a peer dynamic and the relationship between coach and client is often less structured.
Now take a moment to revel in that feeling of accomplishment and momentum. Feels good, doesn't it? And you're just getting started. Here's to your progress and sure success!
