What if we didn’t have to take the Midlife health journey alone?

The (M) Factor Film Screening isn’t meant to be a one-off event we attend, feel validated about our women’s health experiences and separately go on with our lives.

This is the beginning of a movement, a community.

Do you want in?

Imagine if Midlife women like us had a place to gather in-person and online, learn from trusted health experts, share resources and education, discuss our experiences and make room to discover the incredible potential of this state of life.

Imagine if this community was women supporting each other and not judging each other, offering each other the chance to shine and become who we always wanted to be.

The Old Way:

Feeling alone, confused and wondering if you’re going crazy

Unsure of which voices to trust

Feeling frustrated and defeated in your own body

The New Way:

The solidarity of connecting with other women like you

Learning from trusted experts in person and online

Feeling empowered to advocate for your health at every stage

We’ve been misinformed and isolated for too long.

Our culture’s gotten Midlife and Menopause all wrong. As women enter Midlife, we start to experience confusing changes to our health, bodies, relationships and identities. We wonder if this is the beginning of the end, even viewing it as “decline” or the loss of our relevance and youth.

Not only that, women have spent millennia without reliable research or science-backed tools for navigating the hormone shifts of Midlife, and they’ve endured it silently, alone, without education, without answers.

That ends now.

With female doctors across the health disciplines committed to equipping and empowering women with reliable information and tools, we can make better decisions for our bodies, health, relationships and our lives.

And not only that. Women are talking and resource-sharing about Midlife, menopause and health in an unprecedented way.

But we’re still trying to make sense of what this season of life is for. Why all the disruption? Why the loss of control, the uncertainty and chaos in places we thought we had locked down?

Why does it feel like we don’t even recognize ourselves anymore?

What do I receive being a part of The Movement?

Midlife is meant to be a Metamorphosis, not a decline. It’s a transformation from youthful naïveté to the Sage Stage, the era of the Wise Woman.

See, we were never meant to become invisible or irrelevant at Midlife. Menopause and Midlife were never supposed to be boiled down to a crisis, a joke or a weird and unexplainable set of physical symptoms.

Yes, Midlife and Menopause are transitions and endings. Yes, there’s plenty of weirdness happening. The official, physiological end of the childbearing years brings nostalgia, regret, grief and also celebration and freedom.

It’s a gift from God and nature to not require us to manage the possibility of birth our entire lives. The end of this ability brings the freedom to nurture and create beyond our homes and into our extended family and communities.

It also allows us to explore the dreams and passions we’ve allowed to lay dormant while we focused on the needs of others. Old loves and longings return with new energy, but we have the wisdom to steward them well now, with less patience for nonsense and less tolerance for the dissenting opinions of others who don’t have our best interest in mind.

About Me.

I’m Sarah, a therapist, coach and writer, as well as a mom and wife. I help empower women to be renewed and transformed in their Midlife.

I’ve been practicing therapy and coaching for over a decade, but over the last few years, I experienced a new season of my life that compelled me to support women who find themselves on a similar path of navigating Midlife. It’s a journey of self-discovery and self-recovery, and we’re not supposed to do it alone. We need a guide and a community. That’s what we’re building. I hope you’ll join us.

Midlife is quite beautiful really, a gift. But we need each other to access it.

In order to rediscover who we always wanted and meant to be, we need each other. Women wisely have always created communities because we thrive in them. We know we need relationships and support.

But until now, the villages we created were missing the information on Midlife and Menopause we desperately needed. So together, or alone, we endured it.

Now, as more reliable information from trusted female doctors who have experienced menopause themselves becomes available, the community women naturally build is finally equipped with the education we need to support each other through this transformation in the most powerful way. Our ancestors would be proud.

Now is the time to step into what the power, confidence, freedom and wisdom that this era of transformation offers us.

We already know how to build community, so let’s do it. Let’s bring in the trusted advisors, experts and leaders so we can learn from them. Let’s meet together, online and in person to learn, connect, share, grow and transform. Let’s encourage each other in becoming who we are meant to be.

That’s what’s possible in a community of wise women.
